About Mark Reinisch
An author, life coach, and entrepreneur specializing in personal transformation
Mark Reinisch is an author, life coach, and entrepreneur specializing in personal transformation.
His book, The Wellness Ethic—How to Thrive in an Unpredictable World (Where Stupid Things Can Happen), will be released in January 2025. He is also the bestselling co-author of The Life Coach’s Tool Kit Vol. 2.
Mark has decades of leadership experience in corporate America, having driven transformation and continuous improvement programs to help people and companies realize their vast potential, and has served as a director on several nonprofit boards.
As side hustles, he founded a social media startup, shepherded it to a successful buyout, helped launch an international consulting firm as a minority partner, and has written a dozen comedic screenplays. His dry wit comes along for the ride in all he does.
Mark resides in Charleston, South Carolina, with his wife and herd of cats. He loves going on adventures with his two adult daughters.
Mark offers life coaching services to help people thrive.
The cliff-diving photo and video (scroll further) were taken in August 2023, at Crater Lake, Oregon. Yes, that’s Mark jumping thirty-five feet into the frigid water in business attire. And, no, it wasn’t Photoshopped. It’s the real deal. Four years prior, he visited Crater Lake with his daughter Emma. She jumped in at that spot. He didn’t. He’s afraid of heights and never understood why a person with brain cells would choose to swim in freezing water. He regretted not taking the plunge. So he jumped in years later when he returned to the national park. It represented his progress on his Wellness Ethic journey—he overcomes fear in pursuit of satisfaction-dense experiences. And by wearing business attire, it was symbolic of taking a leap of faith and leaving corporate America to pursue a career as a writer and life coach.
